Education

Mathematics Major, UNT Graduate Spring 2015

Experience

Most of my tutoring experience is from the University of North Texas. I volunteered as a math tutor during my freshmen year and was then a supplemental instruction leader for an elementary statistics class during my sophomore year. By my last year at UNT, I became a teaching assistant, grader, and worked at the school math lab. As a teaching assistant, I was able to prepare and present lessons for students to have a better understanding of course content. As a grader, I worked with professors to give feedback on student assignments. As a tutor in the math lab, I worked with students individually and at a pace they were comfortable with. Outside of UNT, I also tutored students from 7th grade to 11th grade for about one to two years.
