Education

I earned a Master's of Applied Politics from the University of Akron with a 4.0 GPA, and a Bachelor's in Political Science from Austin College with a 3.8 GPA. I have also completed a course in Structural Equation Modeling at the Interuniversity Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR) at the University of Michigan.

Experience

I currently tutor master's level students in research methods, and advise thesis and dissertation proposals in various social science disciplines. I have five years of experience teaching federal and Texas government at the college level, as well as one year teaching applied research methods for social scientists. I have 10 years of experience at university based research centers in Texas, Ohio, and Illinois. In that time I have designed, implemented, and analyzed public opinion surveys, program evaluations, and other general research projects. I have experience using large datasets, both public and private, as well experience and expertise using tools like Stata, SPSS, and ArcGIS.
