Hobbies
I love seeing students learn new things! From helping my 6 younger siblings with homework, to teaching swim lessons and lifeguarding classes as a teen, to teaching piano/viola/violin and tutoring reading and math to inner city youth in college, I've always had a passion for learning and helping others succeed. Every child needs special attention in learning in their own way. From my sister with Down Syndrome to my siblings with ADHD and to other siblings who skipped grades, I've learned from a young age that each brain needs to learn in a different way. As a teacher I've worked with students learning English as a foreign language, students with a variety of disabilities, as well as gifted and talented students. Together, we can determine the best way to help each child learn. N.B. If you don't see the subject you're interested listed above, I most likely can still help anyway :)
