Experience
I have a passion for helping students focus and strengthen their skills. Throughout college I helped tutor my friends and family, in difficult subjects and helped to improve their grades. I currently work in the corporate world but have a interest in spreading my knowledge to others. I believe that every student learns differently and I strive to use that to their advantage. Being able to learn in a one on one setting, as opposed to a classroom, can be the key to understand a hard concept. My goal is for you to understand what you are learning and how it could be applied in everyday life. I have always excelled in math, with algebra being one of my favorite subjects in school. I was able to get very high marks in algebra and still enjoy the problems. I love excel! Excel can be used for so many things and can really help you understand sets of data. Excel is one of the programs I use every day in my job. If you need help with basic Excel or PiviotTables and VLookUps I have you covered. Economics was my major in college. When I was in high school I had a horrible teacher for economics, so I had no intention of having that be my major. Its amazing what a good teacher can do for you, the first semester in college I fell in love with economics. I took classes in advanced micro, macro, labor, discrimination, and sports theory.
