Private tutor in Dallas, TX
Education
I received my PhD in Physics from University of Texas at Dallas, 2016. I received my MS in Physics from University of Texas at Dallas, 2012. I received a BS in Physics from University of Louisiana at Lafayette, as well as a BS in Mathematics.
Experience
I teach physics at the college/university level and have also tutored in physics and math at the university and high school levels. I am currently teaching at both University of Texas at Dallas and at Collin College. I've taken classes across the gamut of physics and mathematics. I'm an expert in the subject matter for all physics courses up through the end of a 4-Year university degree and most of the courses in mathematics. Above and beyond simply tutoring in specific subjects, I am a firm proponent of developing the cognitive skills to be a life long learner. These things are important tools one can take and use in their everyday life.

Hobbies
I do research in a branch of physics called topological quantum computing. Quantum computers are cool new things which will be able to do things that the computer you're reading this on can't. I am generally interested in keeping up with the latest science news. Being informed about the larger goings on help me keep a perspective about the rest of the world around me. I generally get my news from places like Physics Today, Science News, Scientific American, phys.org, etc. I am interested in speculative and science fiction in its various forms. I also like to play various board and card games, especially ones with interesting mechanics that require creative thinking.
