St. Mark's School of Texas. Graduated in May '07
While I haven't formally attended, I have helped MBA and undergraduate students at the University of Texas at Dallas, SMU, The University of North Texas, The University of Dallas, Benedictine University, and Texas Woman's University, as well as several community colleges and online college programs. Whatever the program, I can help you!
ExperienceI graduated from the University of Richmond in 2011 with a B.S. in Accounting and Business Administration. Richmond was ranked 2nd in academic quality by Businessweek in 2013. I have been tutoring since I graduated in 2011, and have worked with numerous MBA candidates, all of whom improved their grades. Let me help you get that A! I currently work in the finance industry, and my experience in that field has allowed me to gain a business perspective that can be applied to your classwork.
I have tutored the basic business and MBA-level courses listed on my profile (accounting, finance, stats, etc.), but have also tutored higher level business electives such as Real Estate Finance, Strategic Management, Project Management, and Managerial Economics. Additionally, the courses at Richmond were taught at an MBA level, so I have taken it all before and know how to help!
Finally, I am a member of the golden key society for being in the top 15% of my class at Richmond and graduating with cum laude honors. I also graduated from the St. Mark’s School of Texas and participated in the advanced math program my final six years there.
SAT - 2120 (740 math, 730 writing, 650 verbal) - 97th percentile
AP - scored 5 on BC calculus
ACT - 33 (36 math) - 99th percentile
GMAT - 740 - 97th percentile
HobbiesMy hobbies include reading, exercising, basketball, and I'm a pretty big movie buff! I also love playing trivia games during the week.
Basketball is my biggest hobby, as I love playing and watching basketball, I even worked for the Atlanta Hawks as a scout for the 2014-15 and 2015-16 seasons!
I love reading non-fiction books (even some textbooks!) because I always feel like I'm learning something interesting, and often something practical.
Finally, I love exercising. I started exercising daily over three years ago and lost over 30 lbs! An intense, daily exercise regiment taught me a lot about the rewards of hard work and self-discipline, and I use those lessons in my every-day life!
