Experience
Last year, I got the chance to work as a tutor for my high school English department's writing workshop. Since graduating, I have been looking for an opportunity to get back into tutoring, especially for English, reading, and writing. I love to write and I enjoy helping others cultivate their ELA skills! I am also available to help with any and all editing or proofreading needs. I have the most experience with high school English, though I am capable of tutoring all grades K-12. Hobbies
I am involved in several on-campus clubs and organizations at UTD. This year, I am part of the Student Organization Funding Advisory Board, Campus Housing Advisory Committee, Residential Housing Association, and women's rugby team. In addition, I also volunteer at Blackland Prairie Raptor Center in Lucas, Texas. I love visiting museums, attending author appearances, and going to concerts whenever I get the chance! I am pre-med and am making plans to go to medical school after I graduate. I have a passion for victims of Alzheimer's and other neurodegenerative diseases and have spent time volunteering at memory care facilities. I hope to find a position at a UTD lab that deals with memory research next semester so I can explore the field further. Unfortunately, I am not required to take any more English classes in college, so I am hoping that tutoring will allow me to continue being involved with my favorite subject. I am looking forward to working with anyone who is searching for help with English Language Arts!
