Experience
I teach reading at some grade level currently, I spent two years teaching language arts at the grade level prior to that. I love teaching, and I find it exciting to see students embrace writing and reading and exceed their own expectations. It's very gratifying to help students reach their goals and become confident in their abilities. I'm committed to my students, compassionate for their needs, and I truly care about them as people. I went to the University of Phoenix to earn my bachelor's degree in psychology, and I'm currently attending Texas A&M to earn my masters degree in curriculum and education. I have five years of experience as an educator, starting out in higher education before teaching at the middle school level. I can assist students with English, literature, reading, writing, grammar, essays, and test preparation. In my free time, I like to ride horses, read, paint, travel, and spend time with my daughter.
