Private tutor in Dallas, TX

Education

I hold a B.S. in Biological Sciences from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. I graduated with a 3.98 GPA. I tutored throughout my undergraduate career. I have experience tutoring 2nd grade through 200-level collegiate classes. I also worked for an SAT/ACT tutoring company tutoring all subjects of both tests.

Experience

Sometimes students simply need individualized attention, or a new perspective on a difficult subject for them. I enjoy being a person who can help a student reach his or her academic goals. For a year after graduation, I worked for a STEM enrichment company created STAAR curriculum and other curriculum in all STEM subjects, including coding. I will be attending Law School this Fall, so I am trying to get back into tutoring more consistently.

Hobbies

As far as academic interests, enjoy any subject that is STEM-related and writing, including poetry. I have been published a few times in the last 5 years, both in sciences and in poetry. As far as socially, I enjoy sports, especially basketball, reading, and writing. I tend to be a reserved individual socially, so I enjoy things that allow me to be creative.
