I am Involved in an organization that writes curriculum and travels the state speaking to middle school and high school girls. In this situation, I mainly teach the Bible and life skills to small groups of girls. Coming from a corporate office setting, I have missed learning and the benefits of being challenged by new information. I want to challenge others to learn, grow and find meaning in the disciplines they are being taught. I studied communications in college which has become the foundation for everything in my life. Being able to understand, engage and communicate with other people is necessary in every facet of life.

Hobbies
My husband and I enjoy the outdoors, even in Texas weather. Gardening and walking are our favorite outdoor activities currently. Although my husband roasts coffee for a living, I am an avid tea drinker. I love scouring thrift stores and Craigslist to find interesting pieces of furniture and decor to bring new life to. Although being surrounded by people is my preference, I will gladly sit for an hour by a window to become consumed in a book. I blog at GiddybrightDay.com and sell my finds on Etsy.
