I owned my own business teaching English as a second language in Spain for almost a full year tutoring children, teenagers, and adults. I also have taught an ESL class as an assistant professor. I am fluent in Spanish and have lived in numerous Spanish-speaking countries. I used to tutor Spanish in the Language lab at Saddleback College. I have taken and completed over 20 university-level Spanish classes and 5 upper-division classes specifically designed in training teachers to teach second languages. My Portuguese is at an intermediate level due to frequent travel to Brazil. Learning new languages is the spice of life and I love to impart that passion to new language learners.
