Education
I have a degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of Texas at Arlington. I have experience tutoring, substitute teaching, and student teaching.
Experience
I have lots of experience tutoring. I currently tutor a 9th, 6th, 5th, and 3rd grader. I volunteer with the Reading Rocks program at the Arlington Public Library to help struggling readers. I have experience with small groups where I focus on specific skills in which students are struggling. I am able to tutor any level of Math and elementary school reading and writing. I am very passionate about teaching. I love seeing the lightbulb moment when a student finally understands something that he/she was struggling with. I absolutely love working with students, elementary all the way to high school!
