I am Texas State Certified to teach Speech/Communications/Writing and Social Studies including Government and Economics for grades 9-12. I want to be a tutor to be able to spend one-on-one time with each student and address each person's unique challenges.

Hobbies
I paid my way through college, both undergraduate and graduate school by waiting tables and writing research papers that I presented at international conferences. The stipends from these papers is what allowed me to begin traveling. I have spent a significant amount of time in South America as a volunteer, working in a small NGO for black-marketed and trafficked animals. I have lived abroad in Europe, when I was younger, and have also spent time in the Philippines working for environmental non-profits to create educational materials for children in schools. As an undergraduate studying Political Science, I often wrote papers with regard to social and economic systems internationally. When I had a chance to attend SMU for my Masters program, on a partial scholarship, I began to apply the principles of the Social Sciences to Dispute Resolution systems designed to work transnationally. Recently, I took, and passed the Texas State Exams to teach Speech/Communications and Social Studies for 9-12 grade. I look forward to the opportunity to work with young minds and developing their talent.
