I earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and Animal Science/Biotechnology. I also earned a Master of Education. Both of these degrees were from the University of Minnesota. I started teaching students while I was in high school and worked as a downhill ski instructor for children.Each student can be great! Every student absorbs classroom material in a different way, and sometimes that means various methods must be used for academic success. As a result a multitude of teaching styles exist.I can help your student reach their goals through tutoring in math subjects related to elementary and middle school math as well as English topics of grammar, phonics, reading, and writing. I'm additionally available for subjects related to American history, government, and social studies as well as ESL/ELL topics. I also can help students with test prep, including the ISEE. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, practicing yoga, traveling, and spending time with friends, family, and my cat Daisy.
