Hi, I'm Max. I initially hail from Minneapolis, Minnesota, but I moved here to Dallas, Texas to be near my family. I earned my bachelor's degree in Physics and Math from the University of Minnesota. I also finished graduate educational studies from the University of Minnesota. I began tutoring math while I was college and continued teaching ESL in Seoul, South Korea. Since I have been back stateside, I have been a private tutor for students in all age groups to assist them in reaching the No Child Left Behind standards. I have also served as a substitute teacher and middle school math instructor while I was in Minnesota. Right now I am switching careers; I am pursuing IT certificates.I have always found it rewarding and enjoyable working individually with children. I love tutoring math because it is my most-liked topic. Math shouldn't be a chore, so I strive to make it fun and help my students relate it to the world around them. When I am not tutoring or studying, I enjoy listening to music, cooking, biking, and sci-fi.
