I am an experienced journalist, and I have been both an editor and writer for over 10 years. I have worked for several magazines and newspapers. I also spent some time in the past teaching journalism and English classes at both the college and high school levels. I think my unique combination of teaching, writing, and editing experience makes me a great English language tutor. I can help students improve their writing skills, so they can create great essays and master English classes and exams. I hold a bachelor's degree, and courses I tutor include reading, writing, phonics, literature, grammar and mechanics, AP English language and composition, AP English literature and composition, public speaking, and a variety of English courses. I can also help students write great college essays and master the IB extended essay. When not working or tutoring, I enjoy reading, cooking, road cycling, and playing sports.
