Education

I attended Southern Adventist University in TN, where I received a bachelors in Social Work and afterward I did a post-baccalaureate in Bio-Medical Sciences at Oakwood University in Alabama. I finished with a 3.3 GPA and I will be starting dental school next summer.

Experience

I have been a tutor throughout my college career. I have found that tutoring not only allowed me to be of service to other students, but helped to re-enforce material that I was currently learning. This has become integrated into my tutoring style by encouraging students to teach me what they are learning that way they can be fully aware of what they are studying. My preferred area to tutor students is in the sciences including but not limited to (Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Microbiology, Human Anatomy, and Cell Biology). While receiving my social work degree I spent numerous hours working with individuals with developmental delays. If your child has any inhibitors to learning such as ADD, ADHD, or autisum spectrum. I would gladly work with them and fashion a program that meets their needs. I am also proficient in tutoring students in social science courses, history, english, and math up to pre-calculus.

Hobbies

I am an energetic, fun, and I would like to think interesting person. On the weekends I play football and basketball with my friends and I sing in my church choir. I am originally from California, but I have come to love living in the south. I enjoy being outdoors camping, hiking, and bike riding. I was not always a good student it was definitely a learning process for me so if your students is struggling I can help them begin the process of training themselves to be more academically focused.
