Experience
I tutored biology and math throughout my undergraduate career at the University of Miami. I was a TA for 3 years for the Biology Department. I have experience tutoring middle school, high school, and college age students. I graduated with a BS in Biology and completed the pre med track which required an extensive math and science background. I believe that these subjects are made much easier when you break them down to their foundations and learn them piece by piece since they build on each other. Part of my teaching philosophy is to make subjects applicable to students' own lives so they are more engaged and can easily remember what would otherwise seem like rote memorization. I use many real world examples especially ones that the student can related to easily.

I love to read, watch NFL games, rock climb, scuba dive, go to the gym, and eat Ben & Jerry's.
