Experience
I have a bachelor's degree in Economics with a minor in Mathematics that I earned at the University of Texas at Austin. I now live in Dallas and work at Prudential as a financial professional. I enjoy both my career and tutoring, because I love problem solving and helping others achieve their goals. I have experience tutoring high school and middle school students in economics and math, and I began tutoring in my spare time while attending college. During this period of time, I also helped my classmates with their college level calculus courses. I enjoy tutoring various levels of math, ranging from basic arithmetic to calculus III. My mother is an educator who teaches middle school math. Growing up and having her as a mentor led me to develop a natural joy for both math and helping others. I believe that helping a person achieve their educational goals is one of the most important ways to improve their lives, both now and in the future. I pride myself in being an encouraging tutor who also helps students find direction in their studies and lives. In my free time, I like to play sports, work on cars and motorcycles, hunt, fish, and read. I also enjoy surfing and wakeboarding.
