Education

PhD Physical Chemistry UF BS Chemistry UTA

Experience

I have tutored General Chemistry of almost a decade. My tutoring career started in Undergrad working in the chemistry teaching lab. From there, I graduated UTA and started grad school at UF where I ended up teaching General Chemistry 1 and 2 discussion and lab, Biophysical Chemistry discussion and lab, and Electronics and Instrumentation lab for graduate students. When a student doesn't understand a concept, I enjoy presenting it in a new light that quickly and effectively gets the point across. It is important that students understand a certain concept well before moving on to other topics. The concepts they learn should then lead to higher level concepts. In this way, the student isn't introduced to a large amount of seemingly unconnected data.
