Education
I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in May 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Preprofessional Studies and Psychology. I graduated with a 3.4. I placed out of calculus 1 and got an A in my calculus 2 class. I also got an A in Statistics for Life Sciences. Although I did not major in math, it is a subject I've always loved and been good at. I graduated from Nimitz High School in 2012 with a 101.38 GPA. I have gotten math awards in algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, and calculus. I got a 5 on the AP calculus AB subscore, and a 4 on the AP calculus BC test.
Experience
I have one year of experience tutoring elementary-aged children in math and reading, and two years of experience tutoring college students in calculus and statistics. I also have experience working with children and adults with special needs like ADD/ADHD and developmental/intellectual disabilities, though not in a teaching capacity. I am very patient, and I never mind going over things multiple times and in multiple different ways until my student understands a concept.
