I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in August of 2010 with a Bachelors of Arts in Biology.
Experience
I have extensive experience tutoring both students in grades 1-12 as well as University students especially in courses such as Geometry, Biology, and French. I am very adaptable in my teaching methods to conform to the ways my students learn. I have taken various upper division biology courses including Genetics and Genetics lab, Evolution, Introductory Plant biology and lab, Animal Behavior, Microbiology, Anatomy and Physiology and many others that I feel confident tutoring in, at the University level. I helped mentor fellow students as a preceptor in several of my upper division Biology classes taken at the University if Texas at Austin. I would plan out sessions to help answer assigned homework questions and to work through problems with the students in my sessions. Additionally, I have extensive experience in helping to draft papers and edit papers from the many years of helping my friends with their term papers and reports. I've always enjoyed helping people through their learning process, especially children. I have a brother who is 10 years younger than I am and have helped him every step of the way through school. I also have a great amount of patience and love for kids.
