Jordan V.
Private tutor in Dallas, TX
Education
I graduated with an A.S from a collegiate high school.I’m currently pursuing a B.S in chemistry from the University of Texas at Dallas. As advised my mentor/chemistry professor, I took most of my undergrad math first. His advice I pass onto others: Math is the language of the universe;hence, think like a math major first, a science major second.
Experience
I grew up in Dallas Texas with a passion for science. I first started tutoring friends in biology/math throughout high school for fun. I loved coming up with fun explanations about science.I found I had a knack for motivating and inspiring my fellow students. I live for the “AHAA!” moment when things make sense and the world opens up. Whether you are struggling with basic concepts or simply want to get ahead, I’ll explain the fundamentals exceptionally well by illustrating, analyzing, and applying. I introduce concepts through drawings, stories, and examples. I then analyze concepts and explain the how, the why , and the relationship between other concepts. I then guide the student to come up with their own example/application of the concept being applied in the everyday world.
